I bought this '68 Sprite project 20 years ago, an empty shell with about 20 boxes of parts. I repaired a few rusted areas and had the engine overhauled then an employment change caused a temporary halt. This is the story. Several other problems, including lack of a proper place to work kept it halted for a while. I now have shop space and I think I mentioned a couple of months ago that my landlord volunteered to begin getting it ready. Well here are a couple of photos showing that there is progress. The first is of a couple of friends getting in down from its former long time home and the second is on the floor ready to go.

exciting to see it started!

Nice shop, just a little short on storage shelves :friendly_wink: Good luck with the project, hoping to start on mine soon, '72 Midget Mk IV sitting in storage since 1985!

Working on the rotisserie today and hope to have it up tomorrow. I'll post pix as soon as it is.

It seems to be a common theme for many of us; reawakening a twenty plus year project. I'm doing the same and rationalise that I'm better prepared mentally and financially now. I'll follow with with interest, please keep the pictures coming.

Everything in its time. One thing that I have realized is that I couldn't have restored anything until finally I could - kids were old enough, etc. etc. Likewise I am (sort of) acquiring retirement projects now - even though retirement is a few years away.
