Don't. Just don't.

I concur. Doesn't do Sxxt, and a PTA to install.
Glad I put in a manual drain at the same time.

I put a manual drain on my big compressor after the automatic one failed. Took 20 years. They just don't make things like they used to. (y) :jester:

I've a brass/bronze petcock at the low end of the manifold on my compressor, probably twice as old as I am. Length of 1/4" copper tubing runs from it to the outside of the garage. Hasn't failed yet!

Wow, that's old!!! Did you get it from Tom?

I replaced the drain with a fitting and installed a braided still line with manual valve leading to an old pie pan, with a note to open drain when done.
