WARNING- Strong language. Not sure when this happened, but man, someone needed to be fired! Just a bit of useless Basil trivia - the reporter they are trying to go live to, Leanne Gregg, was the younger sister of my best boyhood friend back in a small West Virginia town years ago. They lived directly across the street from us and both of my older sisters used to babysit Leanne.

Little too much coffee there, huh?

I feel sorry for the anchor; looks like she knew his rant was being broadcast, and couldn't do a thing about it!

I think he was calling Leanne names because of the feed problems they were having. Even if he wasn't being broadcast, I'd have fired the guy for unprofessional behavior.

There's a site with lots of clips like that from just about all the networks. It happens.

Just FYI, but that footage was from two years ago if anyone was wondering about the kids and the tornado. I was in Windsor when it happened and the tornado jumped right over the building I was in.

That particular clip had my interest because I grew up with the field correspondent they were trying to link to.

I know, but this one caught my interest because I know the gal in the field.

I couldn't even listen to it. Made me very uncomfortable.

Whoever he is, I suspect he doesn't have much respect from co-workers!

...and yes, his butt needs to be missing from that job. Offer'd a position as a mail clerk or th' door. That's inexcusable abuse, plain and simple.

OH... and 'Anger Management' training.

Being Military trained I often have opportunities to teach leadership and management through my buddy's company. You would be amazed how many BIG businesses assume that cursing, calling names, and yelling equals leadership and management, the more yelling and screaming the more potential you have. He has taught courses for billion dollar companies where, after the course is complete, managers have quit in shame and I was assisting at one class where three managers were FIRED afterwards.

Many do not realize that if you have high turn over, tardiness, theft or low production, your managers suck. We have taught many managers who will tell us their workers are lazy or unmotivated and then after the course tell us they realize they are the problem.

Come to my job, PPPPPPPLLLLLEEEEEEEEAAAAASSSSEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!! :wall:

I wonder what that guy was on. There is a coarseness in some people that passes for humor, motivation. I work in a field where that language is at times acceptable from certain clientele, but not among the staff. Wow, I wonder where he is now. T.T.
