Can anyone help me with my 66 Midget?
The prior owner gutted the fuel lines, including the fuel pump, leaving me with no idea where the fuel lines ran originaly.
Another problem I'm having is with the PCV. Every resource I've checked says it mounts to the intake manifold, however there is no place for it on my cars intake.
The car is a 1966 MG Midget
ENG. # 10cc-DA-H47641
VEH # GAN3L/43901

I have several manifolds - one does have PVC on it! You'll probably need to get under an early Midget to see the routing, there's no diagram of it that I know of.

Sorry I havn't introduced myself, I'm not up to date on forum etiquette.
My name is Brian, i live in Madison Indiana. I moved here 8 years ago from my home town of Madison Wisconson. My father owned a 63 Midget at one time, sold it,(fear of being crushed).
I recently purchased a 66 midget that is in need of lots of work. I am planning to do the work myself(hobby time). I love the car, and will not give up on it very easily. I t sat out side for an unknown length of time with no protection at all. Most of the parts were there or neer the car when I baught it for $400 back in Feb 03.
I've had to scavenge the frame for the top and some parts for the carberators, every thing else I've purchased from either Vic Brit or Moss.
The floor pans have been replaced (shoddy job according to my welder friend) the rockers are rusted, the fuel pump and all lines were missing, the list can go on.
I am trying to run new fuel lines but I don't know if the lnes origonally ran under the car or through the propeller tunnel?
Also need to know more about the origonal crankcase ventilation system for this car
thanks

Brian...they ran under the car...link up with a club in your area & get up under some of the members' cars...

I have a 65 Midget with 15,000 original miles and it is totally original.
I trace the gas line as follows:From pump mounted on the right in front of the gas tank (6-8inch hose)it runs on the small "L" channel on the right center the length of the belly pan. From there it goes 90 degrees left in front of the rear trans mount and up into the opening there and across to the bottom left side of the engine bay/tranny tunnel. It is clipped all along this run to the chassis.
It runs along this channel at the bottom of the bay all the way until it goes up in front of the left motor mount and wraps to the left of the steering column and continues up to about 3inces behind and below the bottom of the front float chamber.
The EGR is connected to the center boss on the intake, the front boss having a hex headed plug and the rear either undrilled or plugged like a freeze plug.It sits on a short hose and it's horizontal port connects by a longer hose to the filter/can which is part of the forward side cover.
If this is not clear I can shoot some digitals and email them to you.Good Luck!
