problem with radio in 89 XJS

The radio security code is malfunctioning, and not letting me use the radio. It is a factory stock Jaguarradio. Is there an easy way to bipass the code? If not, how do you go about replacing the radio? Does it require pulling the upholstery panels off, or will the radio pull out from the front?
