Primrose yellow?

You may be right, Bill. But given that both UPS and the DOT basically say it's my responsibility to understand the law, which provides for penalties up to $50,000 if I disagree as to what it means; I think I will pass. It's just not worth it for a couple gallons of vintage paint.

From https://www.ups.com/content/us/en/resources/ship/hazardous/responsible/requirements.html
DOT states that no person may offer or accept a hazardous material for transportation in commerce unless that person is trained in conformance with 49 CFR and the hazardous material is properly classed, described, packaged, marked, labeled, and in condition for shipment as required or authorized by applicable requirements of 49 CFR.

For those who've seen one in yellow-- what color interior? I'd really like to do mine with a red leather, but Piggot all but declares it abhorrent. (I know... it's my car and I can do what I want) Seems to me it'd look pretty good! jim

If your interested in Primrose. Ask Paul and Bobby. They're champions for it.

But then, it's your car and not Bill's!

I kinda agree with you...and it's a color combo that I've seen on more than a few American convertibles of the 1940s and early 1950s, for example. Besides, it can't be any worse than BRG with a Targo Purple interior (which also looks -- to me, anyway -- better than it sounds)!

My interior is black and I'm sticking with it. Also my hood is fawn but would love it in black as well as the side screens but $$$$. Maybe white interior would be OK.

Here's a photo of a frame off that was redone in the PPG formula for primrose (82043). I think he painted in enamel rather than base/ clear. The interior is black and looks good with this color but you might consider a dark tan. Your car........your decision

Another foto of the same car. The wires were painted primrose also! Not correct perhaps but the do look gook I think, especially with the wide whitewalls.

I've always hated wide whitewalls, 'cept maybe on an old Caddy. The yellow wheels look OK on this one though.

I agree. I think it has to do with proportion.
