Prime driving season in AZ!

Finishing up the fixing, so that there can be some driving.

I've just got a carburetor and master cylinder to rebuild, emissions to pass and then mum's Spitfire is on the road!

Here's the drive I'll be doing in a couple of weeks:

Have wanted to stay in those concrete Tee Pees on Route 66 ever since I first saw them in 1955 (Please Dad can we? Pulleeze??).

The drive down the Devil's Highway (US 666) should be fun too.

I have more details than what is on the web page if anyone is interested.

On August 16th we had our first annual Mad Dogs & Englishman 100/100 run. 100 miles in 100 degree heat with heaps of gelato for anyone who did it in a vintage LBC. That was different.

Geo,

I'm trying to get mum's spitfire done so that she and I can do that drive as well. I missed the 100/100 (didn't know about it) but then, nothing was running just then anyways.

Also, the 21st Annual All British and European show in Phx is coming up i November-ish.

Jody
