prices now and then

I see that new trailing arms are $69.85 for each side. A new front bumper is $225.00 and a set of all four over riders are $135.00. A new cherry or walnut dash is $137.00 and a complete visor kit is $44.65. That is unless you do not need the mirror on the RH visor and then you can deduct $5.00 from that price.

At least that was the cost of those items in my TR6 Summer 1987 TRF catalog.

My PO just gave me that catalog, a TR6 TRF Volume 2 catalog from 1993 and a First Edition First Printing August 1990 TRF Volume One catalog. He also sent along a Vol. 5 No. 2 Spring 1987 copy of Moss Motoring. All in excellent condition.

I have only had time to browse a little but it looks like they will be a lot of fun to go through.

You're telling me the prices listed in these catalogs aren't good anymore? At least the part numbers and pictures appear to be the same.

Same deal here found them and a bunch of other stuff in a PO big old used parts box.

I am really happy that they passed them on rather than just giving them the heave-ho!

I have been scouring the used book stores looking for old Triumph books and every once in a while one turns up. Like the 1979 Spitfire owners handbook from Clymer Publications. Then I forget I even have it and could probably answer some of the Spitfire questions that come up on the forum.
