Prestiege tops or other sources

Anyone used a top from prestige? I've used their seat kits and tonneau covers and have been very happy with the fit and finish are the tops the same? How hard is it to install the top? Bad as a windshield replacement? recovering the seats? or somewhere in-between. I will be using the packaway frame.

Material wise I'm torn between vinyl and the stay fast with my major concern being the tropical winter temps up here on the tundra. Granted I don't plan on driving it when its 40 below but how brittle do the vinyl tops get when its in the 0 to 20f range and how bad do they shrink in the cold?

For top companys are there any other companies I should be looking at?

Here's the question I always ask: isd the top gonna be up or down the majority of the time?

If down, there's nothing better than Robbins!

Let me put it this way I dont have a top installed in either car however I plan on using the 73 till it gets stupidly cold this year if gas stays high and will need a top full time after mid november. Otherwise I just need a top that I can put up to keep the top half of my body dry while on a road trip.

Hows the cost on the robbins tops?

VERY reasonable, Stew. They're worth every penny. Decades of Robbins tops in my past, many experiences with others as well. My choice is Robbins every time.

They just FIT!

I've got the Prestige vinyl top on my Midget.
I like it a lot, I went for the zip out rear window which makes it so you can get a lot of air flow and no sunburn on the top of your head.
The company is in Liverpool, they are very responsive to emails & phone calls and answer your questions no matter how seemingly stupid.
The top I received was very well put together and fit just right.
After about 6 months use it's still like new, I'm very happy with it and it didn't set me back a lot of $$$.
My friend with a Spitfire ordered their Mohair top and he is extremely pleased with it. Quite a bit more cost, but it is luxurious.

I put a Prestige mohair top on our "B" and am very pleased with it. It gets nice comments at the shows. Just my luck, but when the top arrived, it had a spot that a stitch was missed on a quarter lite. Their Mohair tops are all stitched, no glue. I informed the company and they instructed me to send it back. I paid the postage back to England and they sent me another top and a money order for the return postage fee. Also a very nice letter of apology. Nice people to deal with! I would definitely use their products again.

Nice looking top. I have a Mohair boot cover from Prestige and have received many compliments.

My top is rarely up; usually only during winter storage. I have the OEM jobbie from Coventry Hood and Sidescreen. It fits, well, perfectly.

Because my vinyl boot cover was in perfect condition, I didn't opt for the mohair cover. But now seeing how nice they look, I'm considering getting one.
