I'm thinking that the 'B should get some presents this Spring, and I came across a company called "Brit-Tek", and they have a front susp. + major brake job kit I'm interested in ordering /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

Darcy,

I've bought a good bit of stuff from Bob Ford at Brit Tek. He is a super vendor. I bought most of my engine rebuild stuff from him as well as a complete ignition and clutch kits. I like the way, he groups things together in well thought out kits. The best part about Bob is his follow up after the sale. He's there to help with all the questions you may have. I would HIGHLY recommend Brit Tek.

Never used Brit Tek, but I agree that our cars need some present to celebrate the coming season....I've got a new rollbar and underdas panel for mine...dads got a huge Moss order on the way for his 58 A...along with a carb rebuit kit for the 61 A....Happy Valentines Day LBC's /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

So far for mine for this spring I've purchased a rear quarter panel, going to finish off the brakes new front pads and rebuild the master cylinder. I'm also seriously thinking about ordering the front suspension rebuild kit from brit tec as mine is due for a rebuilding. Just not sure exactly when. I would love to do it during my spring break but then again I want to put some miles on the B. By the way if you’re planning to drive your B in so cal next month between the 11th and the 20th forget about it. It’s going to pour. Build your ark instead.

Let's see what gifts i've gotten for my 'B so far this winter. Carb rebuild, spare carb for extra parts, starter, distributor cap, rotor, front brake lines, fuel pump, Gunson Gastester, alternator, new hand brake cable, and a replacement ELC charcoal canister. I'm starting to hear some noise coming from the right rear brake. So, I looks like I'm going to be getting my 'B some new rear shoes too. I should probably get some new plug wires while I'm at it. Ya know, I don't think I've stopped getting gifts for my 'B since I've gotten it. I think it's beginning to pay off though. I think my 'B is starting to warm up to me after years of abuse that she's recieved from her POs. We're '...' this close to passing CA smog.

Hmmm. My B has gotten 2 new switches, a new battery, new sunvisors, 4 speakers, a stereo, countless fuses and many, many tanks of gas.

On her wish list are shocks, new carb, carpet kit, tires, paint job. In no particular order.

My 74 B is getting an engine rebuild kit and some rust treatment /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
