This link was sent to me someone in Portugal, seeing my name and avatar on another online community (art-work) and guessing that I am into cars.

It's in Portuguese, but the pictures tell the story. The maker of these astounding models used to go in to the shop where the sender works, that's how he knows him. The guy makes these by hand, primarily in wood.

Enjoy!

Here's the link

Link is here

At right you find : Modelos(Models);

Construção de Modelo (Constructing a Model).

So, thanks go to Jose in Portugal for this.......

Wow! Those are amazing. They'd be great models if they were made of "traditional" modelling media-the fact they're wood is even better!

PS-When I saw "this was sent to me by someone in Portugal" I was afraid it would be another link to that warehouse full of old cars. Phew!

Very cool. He even makes his own brass parts, it appears.

Very cool, I still think the best one was the guy who made the 1/5 scale Ferrari with running motor and working transmission.

This one? With the 100cc engine?

Very cool link that guy really likes his Mercedes.

Anyone know of Gerald Wingrove? His models are of the same caliber. Highly sought after.

There are lots of "home built" Countachs around. That one is scratch build and Aluminum. Awesome! :smile:
