I found a neat page about pre-MGA Twin Cams (used in T Series cars). The pictures below are MG engines. Go here:

Talk about a blast from the past! Thanks!

When I was a kid, a buddy's older brother had a '52 TD that he restored from the ground up. He found a twin cam set up that we tried to use, but never could get it running. We ended up rebuilding the original engine and buried the twin cam in his back yard when they enlarged their driveway /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazyeyes.gif

AAARRRGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!

I know...I think of all the dumb things I have done over the years...the '57 chevy convertible, the Duece coupe that I could have bought for $250, the '67 Vette I refused to pay $2500 for, the above mentioned '52 TD, a TR4A from the original owner, and selling my BRG '69 MGB...

That engine was 30 years ago and it is rust now. And I don't think the new owners of the property would appreciate my digging around in probably what is over 300 tons of fill to look for it /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

A number of years ago I was snorkling in about 12 feet of water in Pirates Cove down in paradise Island (before they turned it into neo classic Disneyland/las Vegas)

and thought I identified a familiar freind..

Took a dive down, and sure enough, alway great for a boat mooriing was a 1622cc. block...could still read the ID's of it..!!!
