Powerspark Ignition

Hard to say who is rebranding what ... here's the home site for Powerspark:
https://www.simonbbc.com/
They don't seem to say anything about the technology inside the module; but the warnings sound suspiciously similar to Pertronix. Pertronix is such an old design that they can perhaps be excused, but with modern electronics I cannot see any reason for not at least incorporating protection against overheating. And even adaptive dwell would be trivial enough, if one were starting from scratch. Note that even the Pertronix Ignitor-II introduced in 2000 offers adaptive dwell and protection from overheating.

I also have a problem with a supplier who claims to "specialize" in electronic distributors for "the Best British Classic cars" and yet does not appear to realize that the TR250 & TR6 never came in positive ground. It's difficult to find (another black mark IMO), but if you poke around on the web site above, you'll find reference to there being different modules for positive and negative ground (which I assume implies they cannot be interchanged, again like the Pertronix).
