Power to the relay

I'm thinking to either draw power form the brown wire side of the fuse box and put a fuse in line (30 amp ok?)
That's what I'd do.

or draw form the green wire side which is already fused. Would I need another fuse in line there?
That could lead to all kinds of problems. If you add the lighting system onto the rest of the cars electrical (all the green wires) you'll either blow fuses all the time when you turn something else on. Or the fuse you'll need for normal operation won't blow before the wires in the harness cook.

A third choice is the brown wire at the regulator.
One of the brown wires at the regulator goes to the fuse block already. Whichever is more convenient for hookup.

Is 14 gauge good enough cause I have brown 14 gauge already?
Using the same wire gauge as the rest of the circuit (blue/white & blue/red wires) would be OK. I usually go a little thicker 'cuz I'm just that way.

Well TH, thats one option, however the fuse should omly be a 15 amp unit.

or draw from the green wire side which is already fused. :nonod:

:no Draw from the purple wire which is also already fused and lightly loaded.

Would I need another fuse in line there?--- :nonod:

But if you are going to the trouble of adding a new switched power feed then I suggest that you go straight to the horse's mouth which is the battery hot lead located on the starter solenoid. You will then need to add the 15 amp fuse in this new lead.

- Any thoughts? Thanks for the help cause I am obviously weak in the electrical dept.
I do not know why if you swuench U eye tight you can see em electrons runnin around.
