Power door locks!

Wow, this is some sort of thread. I simply asked if anyone has installed power door locks. Didn't mean to get the blood a pumping or start some feud here. As far as slashing the top to get in a locked convertible? I'm pretty sure I would just smash the window. Much quicker. Has anyone really ever got the top slashed because your door was locked? Or is it an urban legend? Or "I knew a guy once that had it happen"? If some one has installed some please let me know. PM me if your afraid to get flamed.
 
Oh Carl, no one gets flamed around here - just a few (OK a lot) with ADD so we get easily distracted - Oh look a butterfly - so we hijack threads regularly and then we usually get back on track.
 
Nah, this wasn't flaming - we don't do that here...we do look at all sides of an issue sometimes....& learn something about the issue we never thought we would - or that's different from where the thread started!
 
My brother had his top slashed twice when his car was burglarized.
I've installed power locks in many street rods. Sometimes it's easy, but other times nothing lines up. It would be very hard to make it work in the midget door, but if you like a challenge then I'd be interested in seeing how you work it out.
