Powder Coating A Windshield Frame

I'm thinking about painting my 77 "B" Inca yellow and was giving some thought to having the windshield frame and other shiny bits powder coated Black. Anybody ever done this before? How about some thoughts and opinions.

Regards John

I'm doing it on my V8 car

I did it, it worked great! Ton's of color choices I was going to do Black but just went with a silver that match the car color. The power coating really cleaned up the frame nice. It cost me around $100. You can't even tell it was done,
it looks MINT!

I've seen it done and it looked terrible to me. It looked very 80's, which was out of style with the car. But that's just my personal opinion and it's you that needs to like it or not!

I chose to polish my frame. It came out like a mirror and has stayed that way with minimal maintenance.

I was going to polish my frame but it was a lot more money
and I was told it would need to be maintained more if it was
polished. The powder was an exact match to my paint color
so it worked for me.

I don't have any close up shots at the moment, but here's a full car photo. I can get a better shot this weekend if it helps.
