You are correct. And my broken easy out did come out very easily! However, only half of it came out and the 3/8" that remains is giving me fits.
I think that the machinists will have a way to fix it without much hassle. If not...we start over.
I think that they can use a ball end mill to take out the side of the stud, level the remainder and then come back in on center with some carbide cutters and out it will come. It will probably have a heli-coil, but who cares, as it's only a bumper stop.
What really bugs me is that I didn't do this. It was like that when I got it from ebay. Oh well, buyer beware!
