Potential help in examining a Bugeye?

Hello Spridget Forum,

I am seriously looking at a 1959 Bugeye in Dallas, Texas; it looks to be a very nice restore/refurbish. The owner is a member of the North Texas Austin Healey Club; anyone on the Forum a member of the Club, and if so, would you be so kind to offer assistance in reporting on the car?

I am planning on flying down to Dallas to look at the car, but if there are local eyes that could give a it look or known report, and help me determine if the trip is worthy; it could save me some money.

The car is located approximately 11 miles from DFW, as the bird flies (I am sure it is much further by auto). It is off the intersection of Royal Ln. and Midway Rd.

If there is anyone that would like to do this I can give you more information.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.
