The ferrous wheel was such a success, they began to charge people a nickle a ride. Visitors soon found the attraction surrounded by coppers who were hired for crowd control.
Disaster struck the first time it rained on the ferrous wheel - it shrank to a quarter it's original size. Turns out it had been made of aluminium! Further tragedy occured when the shrunken wheel toppled off its mounts and landed on one of the coppers. The wheel might have decapitated the copper but it only platinum. The resulting impact brought several of the other coppers to their manganese.
