Oaky everyone,

Thanks for all the tips I have read over the last week or two since joining the forum. Here comes a newbie question for you all.

I would like to run a radio in my car. Should I convert to negative ground from postivie gournd? My car is still a positive ground car and I am thinking I need to convert it to neg ground in order to get the radio in. Any pitfalls, questiosn, comments, ideas or horror stories on this one.

Second involves upgrading to an alternator from generator. I understand that an alternator will give me more power to run my radio and acessories. Lookiong to add a amplifier also. Not huge wattage but enough to enjoy while blissfully running down the highway with tht top down. Has anyone done this? Are there kits available? Whcich alternator should I buy?

Thanks

Tony
