I have recently got my hands on a 66 sprite that has been converter, I just question how well. Can anyone give me the key things to look for, or is their a printed outline of how to convert a car from + to - ground somewhere out there? Thanks in advance Mike.

Mike, hello and welcome. For printed advice, I have only seen some in the "Guide to Purchase and Restoration of the MGB", which should be essentially the same procedure. The conversion from Positive to Negative ground is really very simple to do. Besides switching battery terminals, you also switch the wires on the coil, redo the polarity on the generator and converting the tach. Basicly thats it. Sometimes the heater fan motor requires reversal of it's leads. Everything else remains the same.
