TR4/4A Position of wiring loom inside the trunk/boot area. ?

Should there be clips for attachment of the loom that connects the left and right tail lights inside the trunk.
If so, where?
Thank in advance.
 
Routed on the upper part each inner fender inside boot. There are little metal clips with plastic sheath. On left side, one clip then routed over support structure for boot lid, two clips on right. Not sure how they are routed behind fuel tank cover, been a long time since I had it off. My car is a 63.

I added some bullet connectors under there so I do not have to undo the wiring to the license plate lights when I need to remove the rear bumper.
