Porsches-356 & 550

I was tooling back from the auto parts store in my MGB going south on Rt 206 here in NJ (top down, of course.....gorgeous day). As I approach two cars stopped at a light in front of me, I realize the nearest is a 550 Spider and the car in front of him is a 356. I'll assume the 550 was a replica......unless of course, it was Jerry Seinfeld driving (he did look a little like Seinfeld). Both cars have "Mille Miglia" stickers on them and the 356 has numbers, other race stickers and a roll bar. Traffic was busy and there's a lot of stop lights, so every time they'd stop the 356 would pull up to the right and they'd chat, side-by-side. So, at one point, I pulled up and joined them (great to have a skinny car). They were just some guys out from the local Porsche club on a Sunday ride. The 550 had California tags so I asked the driver if he's actually driven it from Calif. He said, "No....I'm crazy but not *that* crazy!" Nice fellows. Sorry no photos. On the way home I saw a '67 Dodge Dart. :friendly_wink:
