Wow. WHY would anyone allow fuel to over-fill in a car like that?!? Sounds like some stupidity was involved in the incident.

There is one of those near us in Whippany New Jersey. I've seen it. The guy also has a real 810 Cord, a Gullwing and other neat toys.

We are not allowed to fill our own gas tanks in NJ so liability might be a bit different if that happened here.
