Hi Guys,
I hope you all are having a nice holiday season.Today,I was surfing the net and I came across a site that sells por-15 engine paint in healey green. I was wondering if anyone has used this before.Anyway, I wish you all a happy new year.

PO-15 is an excellent paint product.However, I do not know if their Healey green is really Healey green. But just about all the LBC suppliers sell Healey green paint and no two are alike :laugh: so the POR-15 Product may be close enough too.--Keoke

Hope all is good with you.I was not aware they were into engine paint. If you get a chance, take a look at their color samples. The healey green really looks dark. What type of engine paint did you use? Good hearing from you. Hope you have a Happy New Year.

I have always used the Moss Healey Green it seems about right to me and is easy to apply and touch up.

I think the color chip shown for POR 15 Healey green is very unattractive compared to this. I don't really care what is correct. I like the Moss paint color.
 
I have tried the POR 15 Healey green. It will not pass the color test and match the engine picture above. I was painting something that needed the rust proofing so I just coated the POR with MOSS spray cans when I was done. POR actually recommends that you overcoat their product if it is going to be exposed to the sun.

I have an original factory painted valve cover and MOSS green is not close for me. I worte down the compant that makes the stuff closest to the original and I will buy theirs when it's time to do my engine.
