I know what it is, saw an article about the car and the β€œlady” behind it. Puts John De to shame.
 
I had to look it up. Now I'm intrigued and may look up ye documentary.
 
I read a story about the Dale a few years ago, I guess I wasn't that impressed as I totally forgot about it. I was more impressed with Mary Anderson, inventor of the, ( ___________ )? :devilgrin:

I would have never guessed that in a million years. Speaking of windshield wipers, ever see the movie "Flash of Genius?." It's the true story of Robert Kearns, who patented the intermittent windshield wiper, and his decades-long battle with Ford. Ford essentially stole his idea and incorported it into their cars without paying Kearns or giving him and credit.
