Yep, thanks to all you guys who helped me figure out what was making the noise. The outer U-joint was shot. The job took about 4 hours, if you don't count the trip to NAPA in town to get the U-Joints and finding a shop to put them in the yokes.
On a test drive, I was surprised to find that some of the clicks and pop's that I'd hear now and then must have been coming from the deteriorating U- joints. Thanks again, all. :savewave:
