toms hobby, it makes a lot of sense to me that's why my brother ran off with the marines at 17, and i at 16 just ran off, found myself more then just leaning towards the "dark side" and i realize you know what i mean, had it not been for loving, nurchering grandparents and some teachers i wouldnt be around today. as for child welfare/social services, lots of those folks are hard working, sinceer, deticated individuals that unfortunately have their hands tied by laws and or funding issues. i believe that kids of a certain age may need a sharp crack in the rear to kinda bring them back to reality specially when safety issues are involved and his mom had done such on maybe 3-4 occasions that i can remember, but because of where i come from i promised myself id never raise my hands to my son and having children of your own you know how they can push your buttons, i am proud to say hes a wonderful,loving,considerate,sharing,intelagent..(takes after his mom) 27 year old gentleman. im also happy to say i kept my promise to myself.
