Righto - sustenance!

Beer - isn't that water with preservatives added so it doesn't go bad?

I can't believe I only got one suggestion for a mixer here.

Perhaps I should have asked for favourite gout remedies....

Ask what oil to use in your dashpots and ohhh baby that would have been some thread /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/banana.gif

No I know how to really get it started.

Why would you drive an MG when Trimphs are so far superior?

There I lit the blue touchpaper, now time to retire...

Well, yes. The alcohol and hops do preserve the 'water'. The Pilgims were headed for Virginia, but had to stop in Massachusetts because they ran out of beer.

Well, maybe some of us aren't into Marguritas. Or, maybe we're just a bunch of lame brains.

I've done my fair share of making/drinking marguaritas over the last few years. I usually use jose for lack of anything better for a mixer-1 part tequila, 1/2 part triple sec, 2 to 3 parts mix, ice , and a blender. As far as tequila goes Patron is my favorite, but pricey, always go for 100% agava no matter what kind you chose. I think your problem your not making them strong enough. Cheers, jim

Back when I drank alcohol, if I drank Tequila it HAD to be
Sauza, Tres Generaciones, or NO THANX.
SORRY!
I forgot to mention ............ NO mixer needed! Just a lime and a little lick of salt.
This stuff is a bit beyond pricey but, ohhhhhhhhhhhhh sooooooooo smooooooooooooooooooooooooooth!

A friend brought back a VERY EXPENSIVE bottle (read that way over $100 in Mexico!) of Sauza from Mexico a few years ago and I swear it was smoother than the finest single malt scotch I ever drank but still had that essence-of-kerosene tequila taste. It would have been a crime to mix anything with that stuff.

Blew out my flip-flop; stepped on a pop top
(Can't remember the line)
Wasted again in Margritaville,

etc,
etc.

Who sings this tune?

Mr. Buffett, yup.

Great author, too. A Salty Piece of Land. If you have not read it pick it up. It is a fabulous read.
