Polished Aluminum Protectant

I still cant really do a lot of body work with my broken leg, so I'm finding little projects to do like the dash and the aluminum trim. Some of the trim I polished last summer has already dulled a little just from sitting around. What are good options for DIY protectant?

I think that is an updated form of zoopseal that I used to use.
 
I quit using sealer on my aluminum because once it wore off I realized it was easier to just give it a quick polish twice a year. It is easy to maintain polished aluminum. It is the initial finish and polish that is a time soaker.
 
Good feedback, I've been using mothers aluminum polish. Works great but tends to leave black around the screw holes and in the screw heads in the cockpit trim. Is the purple stuff easier?
