Pneumatic Pistons

One more thing... don't have a prop rod for the hood (been using a thin strip of wood /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/crazy.gif ) and got to thinking how nice it would be to use pneumatic pistons, sort of like on a hatchback. Anyone know how to do this? source for the pistons?

Thanks
Tony

One of the forum members here offers a kit for that. Someone should recall who it is. Dunno if they have Spridget ones, as I've only seen the MGB version.

Think they do for some reason. Discussion here?

Doc, Rick Ingram does the prop rods for B bonnets and boots. I believe he asked for various spridget measurements (model depending) but I'm not sure if he was working on them, making them or what.
I've seen them recently for spridget bonnets somewhere else too, can't recall where.

I couldn't find Rick's strut site (it's called pieces of eight) but his email is mowog1 (at) aol (dot) com
