I've been out in the shop the last few nights workin on the "2"
Last night I pounded out the inner fender on the left side to a reasonable shape (it was all crumpled in) and fitted the fender. I still have some more shaping, and the other side to do, but it all has to be done before I pull the body off the chassis.
Tonight I removed a few more bits, Wiper motor and transmission, heater, heater bulkheads in the firewall, and the pedal assembly.
Then I started to bead blast and paint some of the bits.
One question I have for you other hard core TR2-3 guys, What color was Geranium? Moss just says "awful" for a description.
I'm asking because this car seems to have originally been a nasty light red. I first thought it was just signal red, faded out, but it's the same color underneath the bits I'm taking off. It reminds me of a zinc oxide primer.
For some reason I thought Geranium was a nasty green. Am I wrong.
Even the frame on this car was painted the same color. and I know this is factory.
