Plug Wire recommendations

I need a set of wires for the 74. What have people been using for plug wire and what life expectancy can I figure on?

Based on the suggestions I'd also like to know if this is something I can pick up at the local NAPA.

I've found the plain wrap Moss wires to be fine in most if not all applications. If you want something high performance (meaning lots more money for little gain) try a set of silicon wires.

So the ones in the catalog will do just fine then...
I'll only spend $$ on significant gain.

I'm using the "Cobalt" wires available through Moss. I'm happy with them.

I'm only relating my experiences with the Moss wires. I have them in my BGT and TC with no issues. When I changed the TC from silicon to Moss steel wires I noticed no difference in overall performance, but the silicons were old and one was going bad (random miss). For a performance engine I would use something more exotic but on a stock B engine I don't worry about it.

I run the bumblebee wires. Solid copper. You just have to be careful not to get too close to them /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Are the Moss wires people recommend the std ones or the magnacore.
