Plug for the Registries

I know I'm looking at this from a slanted viewpoint, but I urge everyone to use and to encourage prospective buyers to check with the Registries before the purchase of any Healey or any other classic car.

The Registries are a wealth of information and are willing to share whatever information they can. Every week I update 5 - 20 records of the 3400+ BN1/2's that are in the AHCA 100 Registry. It's not perfect but it is the best information I have at the present time.

With all the talk about what is real, not real, values, etc. is seems like a no-brainer. But there are car with concerns out there & unfortunately there will be a unhappy purchaser this past week.

Please do your homework and encourage other to do so as well.

Randy

Randy,
As you and the rest of this forum probably know I am hunting for a Healey. My 1st choice is a 100 BN2 since I absolutely love the look with the fold down windscreen. I have been very fortunate in my past 2 LBC purchases to get good cars but only because of help like you guys offer here and through my car club.

I thank you all for the wealth of knowledge shared here,
Irene

I totally agree with Randy's sentiments to utilize the BN1/2 and 6 cyl Registries as a source prior to purchasing a Healey. I also recommend anyone looking to purchase a 100M to get in touch with Bill Meade of the 100M Registry for the same reasons. Starting to see more scam ads out there and those are just the ones on ebay so it's really a "caveat emptor" world.
Regards,
Mike
