TR4/4A Plenum Drain hoses

Just bought a set from Moss. They look like 2 ft of 1/2" garden hose for $15 a piece! The question is: Do they run down the inside of the carpet boards and into the rocker panels? They are too big in OD to fint through any of the holes in the "A" pillar.
Thanks
Al S.

These drain hoses run down the inside of the front fenders. They stop just above the sill and you will notice that in the sill there is a indentation of about 1 and 1/2" wide by about 1/8 to 1/4" deep. This indentation is intended to allow any drain water to run down and out from behind the fender. They seem to work. Some folks have advocated running that hose all of the way out and I did on one car but now believe the extra effort was wasted.

Hi Charley.
What I get from your description is that the hose goes from the plenum drain tube, through some hole, down the inside of the fender along the "A" post and terminates in that well.
The hoses I got from Moss have a smaller OD than any hole I can find but I have to admit that there is a lot of sheet metal patching near the bottom and any hole that might have been there is long gone. Of course I have a hole punch that would do it but I wanted to confirm where the hose exits the cabin into the fender area.
Thanks

That hole through the side wall is fairly high . I recall that the hose portion inside the cockpit is fairly short. Then yes it terminates forward of the A post by about 4-6".
