According to that article:

"If you're reading this, Harold Camping's predictions that the end of the world would start Saturday (May 21) failed to pan out."

How do we know it didn't start? Major events take time - forming of the continents, glaciers, volcanos....75, 100, 125 years from now, people may be saying "we shoulda listened!"

I'm just sayin'....with my tongue planted FIRMLY in my cheek!!!

When I was a kid, I remember guys walking down the side walks carrying a sign saying, "Repent, the world will end tomorrow!" That was 60 years ago. They got it wrong then also. Funny thing about the human brain, if you want it to believe something, no matter how bizarre, put it in print! It works most of the time. Notice I said MOST of the time, not all thank goodness. PJ

I know what you mean, I've always had the crazy idea to use my Triumphs as daily drivers. Somehow they keep validating that crazy line of thought though, don't know where I keep going wrong. :jester:

It just proves what your mother taught you: If you make a mistake, it's not the end of the world
