Forgive me since I already put this up on Craigslist and TR7/8 mailing list, but I'm about to do a bad thing. You may remember that I bought a TR7 parts car for some bits I needed for the TR8. Well I rented the house where the TR7 parts car has been stored and need to move it to make sure my renters have unimpeded use of the property, so the car has to go.

The engine is out, but the other systems are there still. She has 4 speed that appears to be in good condition, rear differential appear fine. Evidence is that she was a low mile car that overheated, and you know the story from there...

The key thing is that the body is super straight with only very minimal surface rust and original paint. She is an original inland CA car that I bought as a lien-sale. DMV paperwork is iffy, it appears that the lien-sale process was not properly followed so to be be fair in expectation setting you would have to use this as a donor or for track use. Only looking for small money on her (PM me for details).

Speak now or I'm going to cut her up for the fenders etc.... I've put off now for two years since she is so solid, but I swear I'm going to do it this time...but I really don't want to. She deserves better....

Hi Don, yes I did. I think the timing is bad with all the economic news etc.

I'd never though that it would be hard to basically give a shell this good away...

Tom, did you talk to Jan Orlow in the TRSC club? He runs kind of a TR7 rescue mission, and always seems to have room for one more.

Wow. I really can't get my head around these rust-free Californian cars. You don't see anything over ten years old left on the roads over here. If only it were closer I would have it just to gaze at!

Dude! I'm bursting at the seems, and your too far away. That is why both the TR8 and BMW 2002 race cars are out in the snow. Garage is full- friends garages are full- tent shelter is full. Car on the lift- car under the lift. I even sent a car out for a long slow paint job. Fear not, Spring is near.
