Please date my fuel pump.

The fuel pump in my MKIII has points of the type that use two screws to hold the static contacts in place. One screw goes throught he end and also hole two stainless tabs, one below and one above that acts as a screw lock for the second middle hex-head screw. The middle screw allows adjustment.

This type is different than the type with the sungle screw mounting style. So what type is this, is it original to 1969? The points that were supposed to fit don't fit.

Absolutely not. It's not my bag.

Uh, yeah - I'm married & I don't think she's my type!
(but maybe if I could get a picture first...)

I didn't compose that subject line by accident. The idea was to get eyeballs. Now, I don't have pix. When I discovered I had the wrong point set I thought "I better take a picture". Then I filed the old points instead. Then I thought "I better take a picture now". But then I reinstalled the points. Then I thought "I better take a picture now before I go any farther". But then I closed up the pump and reinstalled it. So, no pix.
