Wife and I spent about six hours perusing the antique shops in Snohomish instead of church.
Took the Jag....garnered more attention than all the Harleys, not quite as much as the hoodles aWillys coupe with a screaming blower.

Gota find a rfemoveable armrest for the console on the MK2.
Wife was to brace against me on LH turns, makes it hard to steer.

Anybody know of a drop-in, removeable armsest that wedges between seats on the console on a MK2?

Dave

you might adapt a Series 3 XJ-6 or Series 3 XJ-S center console, Beecham Jaguar in Australia replaces the MK-2 center consoles with those. The center armrest vinyl covering is usually worn out by now, getting a new one is prohibitive.
Regardless, it keeps the wife in her seat.

note: the XJ-6 console and armrest are covered in vinyl, the XJ-S are covered in leather; re-coloring them is no big deal. you can order matching spray leather colorant.

The good news: the armrest section has a tray underneath for your 45 revolver, hand grenades, and other sugar-free candy.

Removable? I really doubt it would work.
