My wife has me fooled into thinking the garage is mine. But when i almost came home with another Mg a few weeks back,,, this time a '70 MGBGT,,, I figured out pretty quickly that it wasn't "my garage." It would have meant her car sitting out. "when you get around to building your garage-mahal, then you can get another one." Thanks mom, lol.
Actually, I had storage all worked out already. The car's rocker panels were home made in the owners local garage. It scared me away.

Nice narrative Steve. I didn't get that to read her thoughts on the car. I'll have to study more tonight. But I have a question, did your wife serve you that beer with the magazine? Because the way it stands now,,, you are almost my hero.
 
I don't really like beer, but I told her I wanted dinner too so after she gave me the magazine she made a casserole. She did serve me a root beer with it. Does that count? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
 
I should get a custom title for completing this task. Like the story of the boy becomming a man by killing a bear. Heh!
 
Obviously this task was too easy. We're going to have to come up with more ideas for you to try to see where the line is for your wife. It can be our own little Fear Factor British car style. We can start by letting her read this thread, lol.

Well I am going to ask my fiance for this copy and see if she will go out and buy it for me. If not I will probably be sleeping on the couch for awhile.
 
A thousand appologies for bumping such an old thread, but in a thread on another forum this magazine was brought up so I revisited this thread for fun. But now I have to find out if Walter ever got his magazine or if he spent a few nights on the couch!

I also bought the magazine and was very surprised when I saw the centerfold. I just cannot believe this young lady could not find someone to change her tire. Of course with that short skirt I might have just watched myself. A beautiful young lady and a beautiful red MGB is this heaven?
