I have a project car and 2 donor cars. One of the nylon lines was broken and the other 2 seemed rather brittle. No surprise since they are more than 50 years old and I really did not trust them. Obviously a broken line could be catastrophic so a $35 insurance policy was certainly in order. I must say that the TSI people are extremely nice and helpful and some of their items are good buys. Reduction starter $200 vs 280 from Moss and etc. I would advise anyone to check out their web site catalog while shopping around
