Placement of Studs on 4.2 jag

Placement of Studs on 4.2 jag

My brother had the head done on his 4.2 jag ,but when he romoved the head he also removed all he studs and bought new ones. BUT HE DID NOT MARK THE STUDS FOR REPLACEMENT!!!!

Can any one tell me the order of replacement

Ahh. "New Studs." Good.

My books are 50 miles away or I'd volunteer. Sorry.

EDIT: In the 3.8 manual the "dowel" stud is the only "odd" one, and goes in the second from front hole on the exhaust side. Check the underside of the head to find the "socketed" hole(s)?

When I last checked the index stud (2nd back left side) was unavailable. This stud has a 1/2" shoulder at the bottom. The second back from the front and rear are the longer studs to accomodate the lifting brackets.
