Pitts RC

when does it stop being a model? I have to say, if I were going to build something at 85% scale I would want to build it 100% and fly it myself.

I flew a Pitts a couple times and it wasn't much bigger than that, but certainly built a little stronger, a lot stronger. Even though most are very well built, they only mimic the real thing, regardless of their size. I certainly wouldn't get in one, even if big enough. :highly_amused: PJ

Mmm not really a model any more is it?
im leaning toward un manned aircraft
DRONE
honestly I found building smaller RC planes more of a challenge
certainly flying smaller was mucher harder to fly (at scale )
the way I saw it was how much money were you willing to risk not so much in the difficulty
does the AMA even insure you with something this big ?
