This week-long event is a great chance to see some excellent classic cars.
It starts at BeaveRun on July 8 and 9. I'll be there with #11 (or whatever number they assign me /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jester.gif )

For the rest of the week, there will be car shows, rallys, etc.

On July 15 and 16 they will have some truly classic old-timers racing through Schenley Park in the city of Pittsburgh. They've been doing this since 1983, making it the longest-running city-street race in the USA.

Not precisely, but we believe the wheel started flexing due to the much-stickier Hoosier slicks that I just put on. The wheels are over 25 years old, so they are probably not that great at this point. But I believe everything would have held together if the new, longer studs I just put on would have held up.
The studs were added to make up for a 1/4" wheel spacer I'd added (the Hoosiers were 10 mm wider).I suspect that these new studs (intended for a Cooper"S") were made in India or China. They were unmarked, as opposed to all the older studs that were marked "UK".

I've returned everything back to my well-proven setup with narrower (175) Yokohama A032R tires and UK-built studs (and I've inspected the steel wheels carefully).

Next Winter, I'll switch to 7/16" studs or change to a narrowed RX-7 rear.

Ahh So.
If I read the site properly, there is 1 SP250 in Group 5 running in the park. Believe I saw pics of that car racing last year, too.
Best of luck @ BeaveRun and the EMRA events.
