Boy, I love the internet! All the great memories at your fingertips.

I've tried to explain this commercial to people over the years but nothing beats seeing it.

Reminds me of Sammy Davis, Jr. telling Johnny Carson on the Tonight show how he drives his motorcycle. Paraphrasing, he said he pulls his cap over his good eye and goes like ****.

And there was the one with Ray Charles driving a car (Peugeot?)
on the Bonneville Salt Flats.

Wow - never knew about that until you mentioned it. Very cool.

Anybody wanna buy a couple Beta camcorders? :smirk:

Until digital HD and now 4K came along we didn't know what "crystal clear" really was. I've seen old TV shows and movies not yet remastered and it's amazing how what we all grew up with can seem so fuzzy and indistinct sometimes on an old analog set.

I have the Wizard of Oz on Blue Ray. They remastered it at 4k so eventually I'll expect to see it in 4k format, but even the BluRay is amazing. It is like watching the movie for the first time. The BluRay has special features on it and one of them is a clip where they explain the restoration process. I found this clip on YouTube:
