OK, maybe not *British*, but used near a lot of Brit-cars:

Mostly, "pit-bikes" (or "pit-buggys") used at the races are fairly ordinary scooters or mopeds.

Like ~THIS~ one.

But if you've got a bit of spare change, the "haute couture" way to get around the pits is on a new Ducati Desmo like this one seen at the VRG vintage event last week:

Rich or poor, it's good to have money!

And here's some other "pit vehicles" I've seen at the races.

One of ~MY FAVOURITES~ ....very practical!

~"PETUNIA"~ at the Lime Rock Vintage:

~THIS WAS SEEN~ at a Lime Rock EMRA race....*creative*!

~HERE WE ARE~ in Chris Schoemaker's Pit-Buggy at Summit Point last weekend...fully street licensed, he and his wife can drive the Moke into the town if needed and leave the transporter at the track.

I also like your facorite!

I really want me one of those mokes. Very cool.
