Pirelli CN36 Tires

There are now available repro Pirelli CN36 tires in size 175/70VR15. I haven't heard of anyone using them and wondered if anyone here has recent experience with them. I'd be looking to mount them on 60-spoke wires on a BN2. Thanks.

Reid: I have no personal info on the Pirellis, but did recently install a set of Vredesteins in exactly that size on my BT7. Candidly I was a bit disappointed. The lower profile of a 70 series tire was more noticeable than I expected, the tires looked just, well, small in the wheel wells. More noticeable on the front than back; not ridiculously so just noticeable. If you're OK with that size then they could be a solid pick, but if you're trying to maintain some of the original look of a Healey I'd probably steer clear of the 70 series. Good enough for me now but my next set will be different.
