Pinewood Derby... Sprite content of course!

John, I showed the picture to my wife. She wanted to know if you had a daughter... or why you had a Polly Pocket Doll?

Ummm. fair question! I have two boys and I've attached photos of their pinewood derby cars we made together. Long story short, my youngest son wanted a Nascar Featherlite looking car with a BIG engine, so we went to Target to find a cheap toy we could remove the engine from to install in his car. (yes... early engine swap!) While we were there the next asile over from the cars was dolls. Knowing I was making a Bugeye, I thought it would be fun to make sure it had a cute blonde driver! The boys were too embarassed to be on the doll aisle with me! lolol!

John:

Those are some neat little cars. I am sure that it was fun building them together.

Good luck on Friday Night.

Just as a follow up, the boys and I had a great time. My oldest son, with the penguin car, won fastest in his Den and Best In Show overall. My younger son, took Third Place Best in Show!

Polly got to race too, whenever there was an empty lane. The boys were really gunning to beat her!
