Pidgeons

Tarps - and if you even just slightly drag the tarp over the paint when putting it on or pulling it off, you'll get scratches.

And if water or condensation gets underneath and the sun comes out (I know, not likely in England) you'll get a burn mark in the paint where the water was. Another idea is to get a good weatherproof car cover. They are a bit of a pain to take off and on for a daily driver, but I guess it beats getting PP (Pidgeon Poop) all over your car.

To be honest I quite like the tree. It provides a bit of privacy from the people walking in the park. It's the pigeons I want to get rid of. Still like the idea of falconry. The missus is a keen ornithologist, maybe it's time for her to get a new hobby.

Be careful putting plastic tarps over your car. On a real hot day the tarp can melt and stick to the paint. I saw it happen to someone else before.

I agree. Putting a tarp on a car is probably the worst thing to do. You'd be better off just leaving it out to weather (and birds).

A sling shot and a bucket full of ball bearings should probably work pretty well.

Ya know, Doc might be right on witta blow gun....

Flying squirrel!

That's not cool!

Why is it o.k to do that to a squirrel but load a kitten up inna "cat"apult and people have a cow?

if it aint cool ,then it aint cool.....

Its a rodent. You wouldn't use a cat size rat trap for a ferrel cat. . Its got a good chance of not being dead and having an experience that will deter him from coming back.

Squirrels weren't designed for uncontrolled surprise high speed/altitude launchings/landings. This isn't the same from jumping from branch-to-branch. Killing him would be more humane. Even think about the shock load from launching and landing seen by his shoulders and front legs from being launched like that? Now you gotta think where this little guy lives...inna tree. How would you like to have to trudge through snow with a dislocated shoulder or broken leg/paw and then have to climb a tree......in the freezing arse cold?!?!?! Ok, say you make it home; now you're hungry, now you gotta go BACK out down the tree and DIG your food outta the ground.... A face full of #6 shot would be more humane. Coming back? Who cares if he "comes back"? He didn't "come back", he was baited into a trap. People who have "trouble" with squirrels shouldn't build their houses in areas with trees.... I have 4 acres full of squirrels. Sometimes they'll even come up and tap on'na window and appear to stick their tongue out at my dog. Other than chewing up a box or two for nest materials that's about it. They are far from being a plague to humanity. A squirrel may be a rodent but it is FAR from being a rat not to mention the "race" of an animal shouldn't be a factor in the measure of humane treatment. I'd prefer he'd be left alone, however; if something needs to be done, it should be swift and clean. Oh, a "rodent", so then it's o.k to punt the little guy like the cat in Basil's vid? If I don't like salesmen, is it o.k for me to launch them off my porch to keep them from "coming back" as long as I don't kill them? Not cool is not cool....
