Pictures Suggestion

One of the things that has happened numerous times on these boards is that someone posts pictures from a show and over the next few days, the thread gets lost as we move forward in conversation. I am hoping that over the next week or so we will get a flood of LoO pictures. I know nothing of tech but would it be possible for someone who understands this a little better than me to think of a way we could have ongoing access to these pictures?

One thought that jumps to my mind is posting the pictures in a site like Flickr and archiving the links in the Wiki? Or maybe there is a more elegant solution. All I know is that sometimes I want to show or see the pictures even for my own encouragement and then I can't find them anymore.

BTW I would hope we could do this for the Carlisle and Sprite Jubilee also.

Just putting it out there in the hopes we can start out right with this. - Thanks again all who kept my spirits up this past week.

Great photos, Peter - thanks!!

JP.
One of the girls that was there, has volunteered to gather all the pics from various sources, and put them on a CD to send out. No doubt that's quite an undertaking and pics are still appearing.
When Jim gets back and settled, he'll put the call out so pics will be forthcoming before too long.

Here ya go Bill,

It is that @ symbol (that Basil puts there to help protect us from spammers) that is causing the problem.

thanks for the links y'all but you are proving my point. if we just post links in conversation threads, then I for one will not be able to find them when I go looking.

Would it be possible instead to catalogue them on a links page or in the memebers photo section (not the photos, the links) or on the WIKI page so that, in January when it is snowing and we all need something to hold our attention we can easily find the links and remember when.
